Forget Art: Avocado Museum to Open This Summer

Sponsored by the California Avocado Commission,

    The Cado

is a pop-up comprising 16 mobile shipping containers that will be based in the Liberty Station waterfront district from June to August 2018.

    Tickets

are $27, and will get you a retro cassette tape player guided tour, admission to the “ripe room” (with textured walls meant to feel like a perfectly ripe avocado), tastings of “fresh California-inspired avocado-centric bites,” and plenty of photo opportunities.
